Welly walks happen fortnightly at Bishop Wilton for all children in FS and KS1. We go outside whatever the weather and it is something the children always look forward to. 

It gives the children to understand about their local community, learn about plants and animals first hand and get outside and have fun. Whether it is looking at the different kinds of homes in the village, going on a nature trail or following a simple map the children get a chance to deepen their understanding of the curriculum but in the most practical way.

When you have a school in such a beautiful location we can't see any reason why not!
