Our Foundation and KS1 provision consists of two rooms.  Our Foundation room provides carefully planned areas of learning for Nursery and Reception with role play, water, paint, small world and more. The second room primarily caters for those children in Years 1 and 2 and is the quieter area, with a reading corner, writing and maths areas. However, our free-flow access means younger children also use the provision and KS1 children have opportunities to use the Foundation room too.  The room is organised so that the children develop independent skills and have access to the planned areas of learning, designed to enhance the curriculum.

The children’s work is celebrated in displays throughout the school and provides the children with an opportunity to share their success with others.  Interactive working walls allow the children to develop their own learning in a supportive environment. 

The classroom is well equipped with computers and an interactive whiteboard, to which the children have access within the framework of their lessons.
